The Worthing High School "Marching 100" led by Renferd Joseph prepares for football season. Meanwhile, the Stephen F. Austin HS "Sonic Boom" is conducting a Music Leadership Camp before the entire band returns. Stephen F. Austin is one of 8 bands from across the nation to be selected to compete in the Home Depot Battle of the Bands in Los Angeles, sponsored by Vh1.

Molly Glentzer discusses an upcoming performing at the East End Street Festivals. For the first time ever, three marching bands collaborate to perform for a huge crowd. Stephen F. Austin and Milby High Schools unite with the University of Houston's Spirit of Houston to prepare and perform for the community. Marching Band music was arranged by Keavon Runnels.
